It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Megan Dorgan, of Edgewood, Kentucky, who passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. A devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished daughter, Megan’s passing has left a deep void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit defined her life and continue to live on in the many people she touched.
Megan was the beloved wife of Matt Dorgan and the proud and devoted mother of Bryce (7) and Alana (9) — her greatest joys and the center of her world. She was also the treasured daughter of Peggy and Mike Eisenmenger, who raised her with the same compassion, strength, and love that she carried into her own family. Megan’s greatest pride was her role as a mother; she poured her heart into raising her children with patience, creativity, and unconditional love. Whether helping with school projects, cheering from the sidelines, or simply sharing moments of laughter at home, she made every day brighter for her family.
A former teacher at KinderCare Learning Centers, Megan was admired and loved by her students, colleagues, and the families she worked with. She had a special gift for connecting with children — understanding them, guiding them, and helping them grow with confidence and joy. Her gentle encouragement and nurturing presence left a lasting mark on countless young lives. Teaching, for Megan, was never just a job; it was a calling, an extension of the deep care and compassion that defined her.
Those who knew Megan describe her as someone who radiated warmth and kindness wherever she went. Her smile could light up any room, and her ability to make others feel valued and loved was effortless. She had an intuitive sense of empathy, always knowing when someone needed encouragement or comfort. Her friends remember her as the kind of person who would drop everything to help someone in need, who listened without judgment, and who celebrated others’ joys as if they were her own.
Megan had a zest for life and found joy in the little things — family dinners, weekend outings, and moments of laughter shared with those she loved most. She approached every day with gratitude and optimism, reminding those around her to slow down, appreciate the present, and love deeply. Her selflessness, strength, and unwavering positivity were an inspiration to everyone who knew her.
As her family, friends, and community mourn her loss, they also celebrate the beautiful legacy she leaves behind — one of love, compassion, and faith. Megan’s memory will live on in her husband, her children, her parents, and in the countless lives she touched through her teaching and friendship.
Though her time here was far too short, Megan’s impact will be everlasting. Her light continues to shine through her children’s laughter, her family’s love, and the kindness she inspired in others. She will be remembered always for her heart of gold and the immeasurable love she gave so freely.
